Final Year Project

Project Title

Women on Street

Description

The purpose of this research paper is to emphasize the trivialization of street harassment by recreating the experiences women face on a daily basis through immersive art installations and documentaries. Every person on Earth should have the right to navigate their ways without having the second thought of being under constant fear of harassment but unfortunately, it is one of the biggest issues women face every day. The fact that street harassment has been internalized in our cultures for so long that the experiences of these victims have been trivialized. Almost every other woman who travels has been reported to go through this daily and since they have been routinely silenced about it has made them to accept it as normal behavior.
